Synopsis
November Criminals (2017) is a crime mystery you can watch online on iFILM. Directed by Sacha Gervasi and led by Ansel Elgort, it follows high schooler Addison after a classmate of his is shot dead in broad daylight.
Addison refuses to accept the police account of a random shooting. With his friend Phoebe, played by Chloe Grace Moretz, he starts digging into Kevin's death on his own. The deeper the two go, the more the official story falls apart, and what they find is uglier than either expected. Addison's widowed father, played by David Strathairn, watches his son slide toward something dangerous.
Adapted from Sam Munson's novel, the film leans on its two young leads and trades action for unease. Elgort plays against type here: not a charmer but a prickly, grieving kid whose loss curdles into obsession. At 85 tight minutes, it stays a small, character-driven drama.
