Synopsis

Zahia wants to conduct; her sister Fettouma wants to be a cellist. Both grew up in Saint-Denis, and the elite conservatory makes them feel it — wrong name, wrong postcode. Oulaya Amamra plays Zahia with a stubborn streak that powers the whole film: rather than wait for a seat at someone else's podium, she builds her own orchestra from scratch.
