MacGruber

MacGruber (2010) is an action comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Jorma Taccone. Grown from a recurring Saturday Night Live sketch that spoofed MacGyver, it's loud, filthy and proudly idiotic from the first minute.

Villain Dieter Von Cunth has gotten hold of a nuclear warhead and plans to flatten Washington, DC. The world's last hope is MacGruber, a decorated special operative who quit the game for an Ecuadorian monastery. The catch: he comes back a total fool. He disarms bombs with celery, gets his own teammates killed, and watches every plan collapse in the most humiliating way possible. Will Forte commits to the moron with frightening intensity, Kristen Wiig and Ryan Phillippe try to keep him alive, and Val Kilmer clearly relishes playing the cardboard bad guy.

The movie is dumb and crude on purpose, drowning in blood, profanity and sheer nonsense. If old MacGyver reruns make you nostalgic and The Naked Gun makes you cackle, this gleeful mess is your kind of stupid. Stream MacGruber (2010) online on iFILM.
