Passengers

Passengers (2008) is a supernatural thriller with Anne Hathaway you can watch online on iFILM. Claire, a young grief therapist, is handed an unusual assignment: counsel the handful of people who walked away from a plane crash.

The early sessions look routine — five survivors, shared trauma, gaps in memory. Then the accounts stop lining up. One patient insists there was an explosion before the plane went down; the airline swears nothing of the kind happened. Claire grows close to Eric (Patrick Wilson), the most guarded of the group, and the line between doctor and patient blurs. Around the same time, the survivors begin to vanish. Quietly. One after another.

Directed by Rodrigo Garcia, with Dianne Wiest, David Morse and Andre Braugher rounding out the cast, this is a slow-burn puzzle that holds its cards until the final stretch.
