Nim is fourteen now, and her home is under threat again. Resort developers want to build, poachers want the wildlife, and her animal friends can only do so much. So she makes her first human ally: Edmund, a runaway boy from the mainland. Together the two kids outwit grown-ups armed with money and machinery. Matthew Lillard turns up in a supporting role, while Nim is played by Bindi Irwin, daughter of wildlife legend Steve Irwin.
