Synopsis
Chalet Girl (2011) is Phil Traill's romantic comedy, available to watch online on iFILM. Kim, a shy waitress from a small English town, takes a job cleaning chalets at an upscale Alpine ski resort to help her dad pay the bills, and lands in a world of wealthy guests and record-chasing snowboarders.
Played by Felicity Jones, Kim turns out to have a real gift on a board and sets her sights on a competition with a serious cash prize. Complicating things is Jonny, the charming and already-engaged son of the resort's owners. With Ed Westwick, Bill Nighy and Brooke Shields rounding out the cast, this is a breezy snowbound Cinderella story — you can call every beat in advance, yet it stays likeable and cosy, the kind of thing you put on under a blanket.
