SKAM (2015) is a Norwegian teen drama you can watch online on iFILM. Created by Julie Andem for NRK, it follows students at the Hartvig Nissen school in Oslo, with each season handed to a new narrator.

Eva, Noora, Vilde, Chris and Sana go through the messy, ordinary stuff of being sixteen: first crushes, cheating, faith and prejudice, anxiety, loyalty and betrayal, the crush of fitting in. The camera lingers exactly where most shows cut away. When it first aired, SKAM dropped scenes in near real time, posting clips at the same hour the characters lived them and filling the gaps with their texts and social feeds.

That format turned a small public-broadcast series into a phenomenon well beyond Scandinavia, sparking a string of foreign remakes.
