Synopsis
The Lowdown (2025) is a crime drama you can watch online on iFILM, set in the back streets of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ethan Hawke plays Lee Raybon, a citizen journalist who calls himself a "truthstorian" and can't stop digging where he isn't welcome.
Raybon has no newsroom and no press badge. He sells used books, chases the suspicious death tied to a powerful local family, and keeps pulling threads that other people want left alone. The further he pushes, the more enemies want him quiet. Kit David, Jeanne Tripplehorn and Kyle MacLachlan round out a cast of small-town characters who all have something to hide.
