Synopsis
The Marrying Man (1991) is Jerry Rees' musical rom-com you can watch online on iFILM. Charley Pearl, a pampered fortune heir, is all set to wed a Hollywood mogul's daughter — until a stag weekend in Las Vegas drops him in front of lounge singer Vicki Anderson.
Their fling gets caught by Vicki's protector, real-life mobster Bugsy Siegel (Robert Loggia), who hands the pair a blunt choice: get married or get buried. From there the characters played by Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger keep splitting up and remarrying across the years. Neil Simon wrote the screenplay, Armand Assante and Paul Reiser round out the cast, and the feuds behind the camera during filming grew almost as famous as the movie itself.
