Synopsis
Down with Love (2003) is Peyton Reed's retro romantic comedy, ready to watch online on iFILM. Picture New York in 1962: candy-colored dresses, split-screen phone flirtation, and a battle of wits between a feminist author and a shameless ladies' man.
Barbara Novak (Renee Zellweger) writes a book telling women to drop romance and chase career and pleasure instead. It becomes a runaway bestseller. Star journalist and serial bachelor Catcher Block (Ewan McGregor) sets out to expose her, posing as a bashful romantic to prove that Barbara secretly wants a ring after all. Who is really fooling whom takes a while to surface. Sarah Paulson and David Hyde Pierce stir up the office chaos as a pair of jittery magazine editors.
