Jim has come home to clear out his late mother's house before the sale. Amanda is in town to look in on her pregnant sister. One coffee stretches into a long evening — old cassette tapes, inside jokes, the house where they once lived as a couple. The more they talk, the clearer it gets why they fell apart, and what twenty years never quite healed.

Director Alexandre Lehmann shot it in black and white, and Duplass and Paulson improvised much of the dialogue, which gives the whole thing the feel of a conversation you've stumbled into.
