Synopsis

Raise Your Voice (2004) is Sean McNamara's music-driven coming-of-age drama starring Hilary Duff, and you can watch it online on iFILM. A small-town girl trades her church choir for a cutthroat Los Angeles arts academy, armed with little more than her voice and stubborn nerve.

Terri Fletcher is too shy to chase her own talent. Her older brother Paul isn't — he secretly enters her in a summer program at a prestigious performing arts school. When Paul dies in a car crash, Terri defies her overprotective father and goes anyway, landing in a city full of gifted, ambitious kids who don't make room for the timid. Along the way she crosses paths with Kat Dennings, Oliver James, and John Corbett as a tough-love mentor.

This is gentle, warm-hearted fare for a teen movie night: light on edge, honest about grief, and genuinely about finding the courage to sing when you feel hollow inside. For fans of mid-2000s Hilary Duff, it's an easy pick. Stream Raise Your Voice (2004) online on iFILM.
