Didier

Didier (1997) is a French comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Sports agent Jean-Pierre agrees to dog-sit a friend's Labrador, then wakes up to find the animal has turned into a grown man who still behaves, in every way, like a dog.

Jean-Pierre's life is already a mess: his best player is injured, a make-or-break match is days away, and now a six-foot Didier is sniffing strangers, chasing balls and nuzzling everyone he meets. Alain Chabat, who also directs, pulls off the transformation with no makeup and no effects, just body language and a goofy, trusting stare. That physical performance is where the laughs come from. Jean-Pierre Bacri, playing the perpetually exasperated agent, supplies the drier counterweight.
