Crime Busters

Crime Busters (1977) teams Terence Hill and Bud Spencer for a slapstick action romp you can watch online on iFILM. Two broke layabouts set out to rob a supermarket, barge through the wrong door, and accidentally sign up as cops.

From there the movie runs on the duo's usual fuel. Instead of jail the pair get badges, uniforms and a posting in sunny Miami. Hill is the wiry, smart-mouthed one; Spencer is the mountain who settles arguments with a single thump on the head. They blunder into real criminal rackets, wreck most of the furniture in sight, and build toward the kind of enormous brawl the whole film exists to deliver.

Director Enzo Barboni, billed as E.B. Clucher, already steered this pair through the Trinity westerns, and he keeps it bloodless: just flying fists, a bouncy score and zero logic.
