Synopsis
The Other Guys (2010) is an Adam McKay action comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Two NYPD detectives are stuck behind desks while the department's flashy heroes grab every headline in the city.
Allen Gamble (Will Ferrell) is perfectly happy crunching numbers and forensic paperwork. His partner Terry Hoitz (Mark Wahlberg) is not — one humiliating mistake with his gun got him exiled to the office. When the precinct's star cops Danson and Highsmith suddenly take themselves out of the picture, this mismatched pair finally gets a real case. What starts as a small permit violation balloons into a financial scam, and the two spend as much energy fighting each other as chasing the bad guys.
McKay stacks the supporting cast: Michael Keaton as a captain moonlighting at a store, plus Eva Mendes, Steve Coogan, and a memorable early turn from Dwayne Johnson and Samuel L. Jackson.
