Godsend

Adam is killed in a traffic accident on his eighth birthday. As Paul and Jessie sink into mourning, geneticist Richard Wells offers the unthinkable: recreate their son from his own cells, in secret, far outside the law. They say yes. For a few years the new Adam is an ordinary, happy kid. Then he passes the age at which the first boy died, and the nightmares start, along with blackouts and flashes of a will that belongs to someone else. Greg Kinnear and Rebecca Romijn play the parents, Cameron Bright is unsettling as Adam, and Robert De Niro is the doctor whose intentions run colder than they look.
