Hulk

Hulk (2003) is a Marvel sci-fi action film from Universal Pictures — watch online on iFILM. Director Ang Lee cast Eric Bana as Bruce Banner, a geneticist who absorbs a lethal gamma burst in his own lab and wakes up able to transform into a green, near-indestructible creature whenever his temper spikes.

The army wants the creature alive. General Ross (Sam Elliott) is already mobilising tanks across three states while his daughter Betty (Jennifer Connelly) — Bruce's ex — tries to reach the man she knew before the accident. Then Bruce's father (Nick Nolte) resurfaces, and it turns out the gamma exposure was no accident at all. Josh Lucas plays an ambitious military contractor who sees the Hulk as a weapons programme waiting to happen.

Ang Lee brought the same psychological weight to this Marvel adaptation that he put into Brokeback Mountain and Crouching Tiger. Lou Ferrigno and Stan Lee appear in a brief cameo nod to the original TV series. At 138 minutes it is the longest Hulk film made. Stream Hulk (2003) online on iFILM.
