Sailor Moon Crystal (2014) is a Japanese fantasy anime you can watch online on iFILM. This reboot hews much closer to Naoko Takeuchi's original manga than the beloved 1990s show. Clumsy schoolgirl Usagi Tsukino meets a talking cat named Luna and learns she was born to fight.

Usagi oversleeps, cries at the smallest setback and would rather nap than study. Yet she's the one chosen to become Sailor Moon, guardian of love and justice. One by one her allies appear: brainy Ami, hot-tempered Rei, strong Makoto, flighty Minako. Together they race to find the mysterious Princess and the legendary Silver Crystal before Queen Beryl's Dark Kingdom seizes it. A masked stranger called Tuxedo Mask keeps crossing Usagi's path, too.

Kotono Mitsuishi returns to voice Usagi, the role she's held since 1992. The look is glossy and digital, with redone transformation sequences that fans still argue about against the hand-drawn classic.
