Superwho?

Superwho? (Super-héros malgré lui, 2022) is a French action-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. He saves the world by accident, which tells you roughly how much chaos is coming.

Cédric is a luckless actor who finally lands a lead, playing a costumed hero called Badman. Then fate trips him up: a car crash wipes his memory, and he wakes up still in the suit, convinced he is the real thing with a real mission. Off he goes to save the city from villains who, unluckily for him, turn out to be anything but make-believe. Philippe Lacheau directs and stars, rounding up his usual gang of Julien Arruti and Tarek Boudali.

This is Lacheau's house style through and through: rapid-fire gags, superhero-blockbuster parody and humor that never aims for subtle. Fans of his earlier farces will know the rhythm instantly.
