Synopsis
Lincoln Rhyme: Hunt for the Bone Collector (2020) is a crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. Former NYPD criminalist Lincoln Rhyme (Russell Hornsby) is left almost fully paralyzed after a serial killer's trap.
When the Bone Collector resurfaces, rookie patrol officer Amelia Sachs (Arielle Kebbel) — who has a sharp instinct for crime scenes — gets pulled into the case. She becomes Rhyme's eyes, hands and legs: he reads the evidence off photos and live feeds, she tracks a killer who leaves his victims coded clues. Cat-and-mouse for two, where one player never gets out of bed.
The NBC series draws on Jeffery Deaver's novels and continues the story fans know from the 1999 film with Denzel Washington. Michael Imperioli of The Sopranos fills out the cast. It ran for a single season, which makes it a compact thriller with no years-long drag. One for viewers who like grim procedurals built on serial killers and tricky forensic clues.
