Stand Up Guys

Stand Up Guys (2012) is a crime comedy you can watch online on iFILM, built around Al Pacino and Christopher Walken as two aging gangsters with one long night ahead of them. Val walks free after 28 years inside. His old partner Doc is there to greet him — and Doc has been ordered to kill him by dawn.

So Doc stalls. The two men tear through their old city the way you'd spend a last night out: a brothel, stolen cars, a pharmacy raid, a chase with the cops on their tail. They drag a third member of the crew, Hirsch, out of a nursing home — Alan Arkin, getting to floor a muscle car one more time. Every hour that passes pushes Doc closer to a choice he can't keep dodging.

Director Fisher Stevens hands the whole picture to his two leads, and that's the point. Pacino plays a tired man chasing one decent evening rather than a tough guy, and the bittersweet edge under the gags is what makes it land.
