Mob boss Paul Vitti is back behind bars, and his nerves are shot. He calls in his old therapist Dr. Ben Sobel — who is barely keeping it together himself after inheriting his father's practice along with a stack of problems. When Vitti gets paroled, Sobel is stuck playing reluctant guardian. Vitti lands a gig as a consultant on a mob-themed TV show. But his former associates haven't forgotten him, and they aren't exactly wishing him well.
