Our Kind of Traitor

Our Kind of Traitor (2016) is a John le Carré spy thriller you can watch online on iFILM. On holiday in Marrakech, an ordinary English couple, university lecturer Perry and lawyer Gail, fall in with a loud, generous Russian named Dima. Behind the hospitality is a man running out of road.

Dima is the money launderer for a Russian crime syndicate, and he knows his own bosses have already marked him for death. In exchange for protection for his family, he offers British intelligence names and account numbers that reach into the heart of London's financial establishment. Perry and Gail, who have no business near any of this, become the only channel to MI6 officer Hector. From there the trail runs to Paris and the Alps, and it's never clear who is really using whom.

Directed by Susanna White, the film hands Dima to Stellan Skarsgård, who plays a charming man visibly sick with fear, with Damian Lewis as the MI6 handler and Ewan McGregor and Naomie Harris as the couple.
