Overlord (Seasons 1–4)

Overlord (2015) is the isekai anime you can watch online on iFILM, and its twist is simple: the hero is the villain. On the final night before the online game Yggdrasil goes dark, a player called Momonga refuses to log out. The servers never disconnect him. He wakes up trapped inside the body of his character — an undead skeletal sorcerer who rules a dread guild.

Things get strange fast. The non-player characters, once just lines of code, suddenly feel, argue, and bow to their master with real devotion. The Great Tomb of Nazarick, with its guardians, battle maids and floor-keeping mages, now answers only to him. Taking the guild's name as his own, Ainz sets out to map this new world and find a way home. His method is blunt: conquer whatever stands in front of him.

What makes the show worth your time is how calmly it follows a protagonist who will wipe out a village without blinking.
