Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi (Season 1)

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi (2022) is an animated anthology you can watch online on iFILM. Six short chapters from Lucasfilm Animation trace two prequel-era lives running in parallel: young Ahsoka Tano and the future Sith Lord Count Dooku.

Three episodes follow Ahsoka — from her infancy on Shili through her early training with Anakin Skywalker, up to the moment Order 66 leaves her alone and hunted. The other three watch Dooku slowly lose faith in the Jedi while he is still a respected Master and mentor to Qui-Gon. Liam Neeson reprises Qui-Gon Jinn, Ashley Eckstein returns as Ahsoka, and Corey Burton voices Dooku.

Made by Dave Filoni's Clone Wars team, the series leans on its visuals: long stretches play out with barely a line of dialogue, letting a glance or a drawn lightsaber carry the weight.
