Hangman

Hangman (2017) is a serial-killer thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Johnny Martin. A murderer is turning the old children's word game into a body count — one fresh corpse every night at eleven, a letter carved beside each one.

Detective Will Ruiney (Karl Urban) is still on the force; his old partner, retired profiler Ray Archer (Al Pacino), gets pulled back in because the killer is taunting him by name. A crime reporter, Christi Davies (Brittany Snow), rides along with permission to write the squad from the inside. The pattern becomes clear fast: those carved letters are spelling something out, and the killing won't stop until somebody guesses the word.

The honest draw here is Pacino playing a weary cop in a small genre picture where he's plainly the bait. The plot runs on familiar serial-thriller rails with few real surprises, but it stays lean — 98 minutes, no padding, no wasted subplot. A solid late-night pick if you like grim manhunts.
