Encino Man

Dave (Sean Astin) and his slacker pal Stoney (Pauly Shore) thaw the guy out, give him a shave and some clothes, and pass him off as a new student named Link (Brendan Fraser). What follows is pure early-'90s Southern California: parties, crushes, and a Stone Age man who somehow handles suburban life more honestly than anyone at school. The more Link settles in, the more he upends his keepers' dull routine.

This is one of Brendan Fraser's first leads, played almost entirely through face and body, barely a line of dialogue.
