Synopsis

A fellow passenger derails all of it. Victoire is a warm-hearted, scatterbrained fan with a few wires loose, and the moment she recognizes her idol she simply will not leave him alone. What begins as an irritation slowly turns into an odd, tender bond. The further the train rolls, the harder it gets for Antoine to hold on to his grim decision.
Director Jean-Pierre Améris has long made gentle films about awkward, fragile people, and that touch runs all through this one. Valérie Lemercier and Gérard Darmon play a duo where sadness keeps seeping through the comedy, and beneath the sadness sits a stubborn appetite for living.
