Synopsis
The Perfect Man (2005) is a family rom-com you can watch online on iFILM. A teenager invents a secret admirer for her mother, hoping it will finally stop the family from packing up after every failed relationship.
Holly, played by Hilary Duff, is sick of switching schools every time her mom Jean falls for another dead-end guy. So she builds one from scratch: an imaginary suitor who sends notes and flowers and quietly rebuilds Jean's confidence. Heather Locklear plays the mom; the model for the dreamy stranger is the restaurant-owning uncle of a classmate. The catch is that a lie this charming gets harder to keep alive by the day.
Director Mark Rosman, a steady hand at mid-2000s teen movies, keeps everything soft-edged and sweet.
