Critters 2

Two years after a swarm of hungry, fanged fuzzballs tore through Grovers Bend, the town has mostly moved on. Mostly. A leftover batch of eggs was just waiting, and they hatch right around Easter. Things escalate fast. The Critters devour anything that moves, crash a church service, and eventually pile into one giant rolling ball of teeth and fur. A grown-up Brad Brown comes back to town, the space bounty hunters rejoin him, and a loud, messy cleanup begins.

The follow-up leans harder into comedy than the original and clearly knows it's having fun, never taking itself seriously for a second. The effects are practical, the gore is cheerful, the pace is quick — exactly the kind of cozy late-'80s creature feature for popcorn nights when you want goofy over scary.
