Synopsis
Lost and Delirious (2001) is Léa Pool's Canadian drama you can watch online on iFILM. At a private boarding school buried deep in the woods, sixteen-year-old girls learn languages and fencing. First love isn't on the syllabus.
New student Mary (Mischa Barton) shares a room with two older girls. Pauline and Victoria are inseparable, and Mary soon learns why — they're in love. When Victoria caves to pressure to seem ordinary, Pauline comes apart in the open: falcons, fencing, lines of Shakespeare hurled like weapons. Piper Perabo plays her with a recklessness that turns a quiet coming-of-age story into something that aches.
Adapted from Susan Swan's novel, with Graham Greene as the school gardener — the one adult who actually listens. The film lands not through plot twists but through performance heat; Perabo's Pauline stays with you for years. For anyone who wants an honest teen-love story with none of the corners sanded off.
