Synopsis

Grandma's Boy (2006) is Nicholaus Goossen's slacker comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It's the goofy story of a grown video-game tester who, at 35, ends up moving back in with his grandmother.

Alex (Allen Covert) plays games for a living and acts about thirteen. After his roommate blows the rent money on escorts, Alex has nowhere to go and lands on the couch of his grandma and her two lively friends. The old ladies turn out to be anything but quiet, and the weed, parties and awkward confessions never really stop. In between the chaos, Alex tries to finish his own game and keep his slacking hidden from his bosses. Linda Cardellini, Nick Swardson and a very young Jonah Hill fill out the crew.

The movie came out of Adam Sandler's Happy Madison team, so the humor is willfully dumb, stoned and not for everyone. Among gamers and fans of laid-back comedies, though, it has quietly become a reliable late-night pick. Stream Grandma's Boy (2006) online on iFILM.
