A week before his wedding, uptight lawyer Jason (Efron) gets tricked into driving his recently widowed grandfather Dick (De Niro) to Florida. Jason expects to comfort a grieving old man. Instead, the foul-mouthed ex-Army officer drags him straight into the chaos of Daytona during spring break: bar brawls, pool parties, and a karaoke night nobody walks away from clean. With every mile, Jason's tidy life and his controlling fiancee drift further away. Aubrey Plaza, Zoey Deutch and Dermot Mulroney round out the cast.
