Synopsis
All My Life (2020) is a romantic drama from director Marc Meyers, based on a true story, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Jessica Rothe and Harry Shum Jr. star as Jennifer and Solomon, a young couple whose wedding plans get upended by a brutal diagnosis.
They met by accident — one of Sol's buddies was trying to chat up Jenn, and instead the spark jumped between those two. From there it goes the way these things do: moving in together, leaning on each other, a proposal. Then, with the wedding already on the horizon, Sol is diagnosed with liver cancer and given roughly six months. Rather than push the celebration off, the couple decides to bring it forward, and friends from across the country pitch in to pull a wedding together before the clock runs out. Michael Masini, Keala Settle and Josh Brener round out the cast.
It's a quiet, sincere film built around a real Chicago couple whose story once drew thousands of strangers rooting for them online. Meyers keeps the tone gentle and unforced, trusting the warm chemistry between his two leads to carry it. This one's for anyone who loves a tender love story and doesn't mind a good cry.
