Synopsis
The Man from Toronto (2022) is Patrick Hughes' action comedy, and you can watch online on iFILM. Bumbling entrepreneur Teddy shows up at the wrong rental cabin and walks straight into someone else's nightmare. Through a dumb mix-up, he gets taken for the world's deadliest hitman — the assassin everyone calls the Man from Toronto.
Teddy (Kevin Hart) has just botched another get-rich-quick scheme and only wanted to surprise his wife. Instead he's dropped into the middle of a hit, and the real killer (Woody Harrelson) hands him a deal: play along, or don't make it to nightfall. From there it's car chases, shootouts and a forced partnership between two men who could not be less alike. Kaley Cuoco and Ellen Barkin round out the cast.
Hughes, who made The Hitman's Bodyguard, again pairs a motormouth with a stone-cold bruiser — a familiar formula, but Hart and Harrelson clearly enjoy running it.
