Fanboys

Fanboys (2009) is a road-trip comedy from director Kyle Newman, and you can watch online on iFILM. It's 1998, months before The Phantom Menace hits theaters, and a pack of Ohio friends hatch a plan to steal an early print straight from George Lucas' Skywalker Ranch.

The scheme reads as pure goofball nostalgia until the real stake lands: their friend Linus has been given only months to live and may not make it to opening night. Suddenly the cross-country dash is a race against the clock. Eric, Hutch, Windows, and the sharp-tongued Zoe (Kristen Bell) pile into a van, brawl with Trekkies, land in an Iowa jail, and finally storm the Ranch itself.
