Synopsis

Danny (Michael Ealy) and Debbie (Joy Bryant) fall for each other quietly and for real, set up by their loud-mouthed friends Bernie and Joan. Kevin Hart and Regina Hall play that second pair, and they flat-out steal the movie — all shouting matches, breakups, and make-up sex on a loop. While one couple figures out what living together actually costs, the other just detonates. Christopher McDonald and Adam Rodriguez round out the cast.
It's a loose remake of the 1986 drama drawn from David Mamet's play, recut as a raunchy comedy. The arc is no surprise, but the Hart-and-Hall chemistry carries the whole thing — that's the reason to press play.
