Revolution (Seasons 1–2)
Take back the power.
Synopsis
Revolution (2012–2014) is NBC's post-apocalyptic sci-fi series you can watch online on iFILM. One ordinary evening, every light on Earth goes out and never comes back. Planes drop from the sky, cities go dark, and humanity is thrown back past the age of steam.
Fifteen years later, people farm in scattered hamlets, light their streets with lanterns and candles, and armed militias rule the wreckage. When soldiers of the Monroe Republic gun down Charlie Matheson's father, she learns he understood why the power died, and hid a device that could switch it all back on. Charlie sets out to free her captured brother and drags along her uncle Miles (Billy Burke), an ex-soldier with a past he would rather leave buried. Standing against them is General Sebastian Monroe (David Lyons), while Giancarlo Esposito brings an icy menace to militia captain Tom Neville.
Created by Eric Kripke of Supernatural and produced under J.J. Abrams' Bad Robot, the show blends a pendant-shaped mystery, sword fights and tangled conspiracies. It runs two seasons and 42 episodes, and the story is complete. Worth a look if you like survival in a wild, broken America hanging on a single unsolved secret.
