Synopsis
The Sisters (2025) is a Russian-Turkish drama series to watch online on iFILM, directed by Yegor Baranov. Twin sisters separated in childhood — Sonya raised in Moscow, Alisa in Istanbul — cross paths as adults, and the meeting unravels both their lives.
After an accident leaves Sonya with no memory of who she was, her twin Alisa makes a deliberate choice: she steps into her sister's life and stays. She's fallen for Sonya's husband. She knows exactly what she's doing. Sonya, not knowing her own past, bonds with her nephew as if he were her own son. Two identities blur across every episode. Tatyana Zhuravlyova, Yekaterina Zhuravlyova, Olga Krasko, and Valery Barinov play the people caught between them, joined by Turkish actors Onur Ozer and Baris Aytac in the Istanbul storyline.
