Synopsis
Dallas (1978–1996) is CBS's landmark prime-time soap — 14 seasons, 357 episodes — that you can watch online on iFILM. Larry Hagman's J.R. Ewing is the defining villain of American television: an oil baron who would rather watch Texas burn than let his brother Bobby have the last word.
The Ewing family runs Southfork Ranch outside Dallas and runs it like a war. Two brothers pulling in opposite directions. A mother trying to keep the dynasty together. Rivals, mistresses, forged contracts, and disappearing millions. The show hit critical mass in season two and never looked back — culminating in the 1980 season finale where someone shot J.R., a cliffhanger that gripped audiences for eight months and became one of the most talked-about moments in TV history.
Ken Kercheval's Cliff Barnes brought a worthy enemy to every episode, and the writing kept 1980s viewers locked in week after week. Stream all seasons of Dallas online on iFILM.
