Save Yourselves!

Jack and Su are phone-addicted Brooklynites who know their devices are slowly wrecking their relationship. A nudge from a downshifter friend pushes them to commit — seven days at a remote cabin, no internet, no news feeds. Back in the city, civilization is quietly disintegrating. The aliens, furry and oddly unhurried, are already spreading. Sunita Mani and John Reynolds play the couple with an endearing obliviousness that drives most of the film's comedy. The premise is a one-liner, but Fischer and Wilson resist overloading it — they let the character chemistry do the work, and the absurdity stays grounded just long enough to land the emotional beats.
