Synopsis
"The Guest" (2025) is a Russian drama series you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Ivan Petukhov. Two storylines run in close parallel. Investigator Andrei is untangling the death of astronomer Nikolsky — a man who spent his life hiding his own daughter from the world. That daughter is Marina: young, guarded, standing outside Zoya's door one evening with no phone and no money.
Zoya, played with understated warmth by Irina Pegova, lets the stranger in. Things in Zoya's life had been going badly; they start to shift. Marina, played by Dasha Vereshchagina, says almost nothing useful. She is clearly not who she claims to be.
