Prairie gathers five strangers: a teacher, neighborhood teenagers, a former detective. Jason Isaacs plays the scientist who kept her captive; Emory Cohen plays one of the other prisoners. Two seasons, cancelled at the height of their mystery, with no resolution ever given. That open wound is part of why the show haunts viewers years later.
