Tales from the Loop (2020) is an Amazon Prime Video sci-fi drama you can watch online on iFILM, based on the illustrated books by Swedish artist Simon Stålenhag. Rebecca Hall and Jonathan Pryce lead the cast; individual episodes were directed by Mark Romanek, Andrew Stanton, and Jodie Foster.

The setting is a small Ohio town built above The Loop — a particle research machine that quietly makes the impossible happen. Each of the eight episodes follows a different resident. One discovers how to freeze time. Another wakes up in the wrong body. A child meets an older version of himself and learns something he wasn't ready to know. The Loop doesn't explain itself. That silence is the point — something vast is operating underneath ordinary life, and the people living above it have only partial understanding of what it does to them.
