The Road Dog

The Road Dog (2023) is an American comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Greg Glienna and starring real-life stand-up comedian Doug Stanhope.

Jimmy Quinn was something once. Now he works small rooms, drinks too much, and has a talent for wrecking things before they can matter. Then his son David — abandoned when he was a child — shows up unannounced. He wants to do stand-up. He wants Jimmy to teach him.

Stanhope brings a lived-in exhaustion to Jimmy that only someone who has actually done these clubs can fake convincingly.
