Eight years of medical school in St. Petersburg. Mitya finally comes home — and his village of Ozyornoye expected a surgeon. They got a psychiatrist-sexologist. But Mitya isn't going anywhere: he can see how much damage the village's generations-long silence on the subject has done, and he intends to do something about it.
