Anton and Sveta Lebedev want a clean, quiet divorce. Bureaucracy has other ideas: the paperwork requires a personal visit to Nezhnogorie, a remote northern town where they got married years ago. Their neighbors — the Bublik family, Valentin, Varvara, and their relentless son Platon Valentinovich — happen to be heading the same direction. The Lebedevs can't say no fast enough.
