Wicked City

"Wicked City" (妖獸都市, 1992) is a Hong Kong sci-fi horror action film directed by Peter Mak, available to watch online on iFILM. The story comes from Hideyuki Kikuchi's manga — already adapted as an anime by Yoshiaki Kawajiri in 1987 — relocated here to a near-future city in 1997.

Raptors walk among humans. They look like anyone, until they don't. A fragile peace treaty between their world and ours is expiring, and a new agreement needs signing. A radical Raptor faction wants the diplomat handling negotiations dead. Agents Taki and Ken are assigned to keep him alive — which gets complicated when Ken's half-Raptor instincts start surfacing at inconvenient moments.
