The Girl from Tomorrow (1992) is an Australian sci-fi children's series you can watch online on iFILM. Alana lives in the year 3000 — a world with no war, no disease, no unresolved problems. That ends when Silverthorn, a fugitive from the year 2500, steals a time machine and takes her back with him to 1992.

Stranded in the present, Alana meets Jenny, a regular schoolgirl who helps her make sense of traffic lights, pocket money, and a century that runs entirely on guesswork rather than logic. Silverthorn is still hunting them both. The series aired on Australian ABC, directed by Noel Price and Kathy Mueller; Katarina Cullen plays Alana.
