The Soul Conductor

The Soul Conductor (Проводник, 2018) is a Russian horror thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Ilya Maksimov and starring Alexandra Bortich and Yevgeny Tsyganov.

Katya has seen ghosts since childhood and stopped expecting to be believed a long time ago. When her twin sister disappears, the police do something worse than dismissing the ghost angle — they deny the sister ever existed. No record, no witnesses, nothing. Katya investigates alone and uncovers a serial killer operating in the dark, with the whole city seemingly content not to look. Tsyganov plays the investigator assigned to establish she is simply unstable. The film rests almost entirely on Bortich, and she holds it.
